Our cooperation is based on a skeleton staff. Which in this case means that our project will be created by only two engineers. We are both interested in modern technology and are very motivated to succesfully finish this project. My name is Joris Van Duyse and I cooperate with Jens Van Humbeeck to work on GG-PI.
We are trying to create a quadcopter with the help of a Raspberry PI. We are going to hang a camera on it so we could take pictures or film the school.
The drone a project of STEM, a course at school. We could choose our own project, but this is something that intresses us both. We learn a lot of skills with it like programming, building an electrical circuit and a lot more. ASO is not a really technical course, so this is a great opportunity to learn some more technical things.
The team that will be working on GG-PI includes Joris and Jens. We have the same goals. We both are much a like. We enjoy working on these kind of projects. Although our intrests are some sort of different we seem to find ourselfs in a good position to finnish this project with great succes. Simply put: My name Joris Van Duyse and my teammate is Jens Van Humbeeck. We both love flying. So everything that has to do with planes, drones, physics, aerodynamics and programming are things that we are interested in.
Good day. I'm joris and I love planes and creating things. In this project I hope to learn a lot about programming . My hobby is gliding. That and my curiosity are the reasons why I started this project with Jens.
Hey, I'm Jens and this project helps me a lot to get a better understanding of electronics. It also gives my the opportunity to improve my skills of programming. As you can see on the picture, my hobby is driving with a dirt bike.
Our main plan is to built a drone. We have some other things that we want to accomplish too. After building the drone we will upgrade the fligtpilot with a PI motherboard. This will enable us to work more freely and give us the possibilities to program and run the flightpilot on a mora advanced software. This will take a huge amount of time and money. So we want to take it stap by stap, start slow then move as we get more experienced we begin upgrading the drone. We know it is possible. We just have to start small and built the foundation.
This project started out just for a school course. But it will most likely grow into something huge. We are both in physics courses. That includes the possibility to start a project like this one. The momment we had to decide what project we would chose. Knowing that both of us love everything that has to do with flying. The idea of building a drone flourished in both of our minds. That being said there was not much to speculate about. So we got to work.
